Boat Trips

You are surrounded by the sea, so why not take a boat trip? You can explore the surrounding waters on SeaFari's fast RIBs or with Sealife Adventures, or simply take the passenger ferry to Easdale or the car ferry to Luing. From Oban you can take a day trip to the spectacular island of Mull or to historic Iona.

Walking

A favourite walk is from Cuan round to Seaview. Cars can be left at either end if you only want to do it one way. For shorter excursions try walking over the hill to Puilladobhrain from the Atlantic Bridge, or find the path up behind the Highland Arts centre which leads up to a seat with a splendid view down the Sound of Luing. Another popular walk is the circuit of Easdale Island, stopping to admire the new hall and visit the museum if it is open.

Gardens

If you like gardens then visit An Cala in Ellenabeich or Ardmaddy Castle Gardens just across the bridge on the other side of Seil Sound.

Play Golf

The nine hole course at Balvicar is open to visitors and clubs can be hired in the shop. There is also a crazy golf course at the Highland Arts Centre in Ellenabeich.

Eat Out

The Oyster Brewery in Ellenabeich and the Tigh an Truish at the bridge both serve a varied and delicious menu of evening meals throughout the season.
